In this third amended answer to Random HouseÆs second amended complaint, Joan Collins and her production company claim that she submitted her manuscripts on or ahead of schedule even though Random House never provided the editorial assistance it was required to provide. Collins says she is entitled to paid advances and is countersuing for additional advances that she claims were never paid. The document was filed Nov. 30, 1995.
